The Domaine Saint Victor is located in La Tour d’Aigues (Vaucluse), in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional du Luberon, in a park of over three hectares bordering vineyards and a wooded area.
The Domaine Saint Victor offers you an exceptional venue for your events, a peaceful break for a few days in the Provencal countryside, or simply to take the time to enjoy a park in the middle of the vines, planted with truffle oaks, olive trees and Provencal herbs.
An ideal base for hiking, relaxing or discovering an exceptional region!
Biodiversity and outdoor spaces:
Our grounds have become a haven of biodiversity, with plants that are adapted to the climate and require little water.
Thanks to our donkeys, we practise eco-pasturing, using their dung as a natural fertiliser for our plants.
We collect and re-use rainwater throughout the park.
We don’t use any chemical products.
Waste management:
Recycling is encouraged in the Bastide and in each of our gîtes.
Chickens feast on food scraps and composters are available for food they cannot eat.
Responsible consumption of water and energy:
We have a green energy contract and all our domestic appliances have a minimum energy rating of A+.
We are self-sufficient in water, which comes from a borehole and also has the advantage of containing no chlorine or other chemicals, as it comes directly from underground.
Most of our showerheads are low-flow, and we are testing different models to choose the most efficient to install in the remaining showers. Dual-flush toilets have been installed.
Responsible sourcing:
We use ecological and homemade cleaning products.
We also like to share with our customers our home-made products, such as olive oil, jams and fruit jellies, depending on the season.
Discovering and raising awareness of the local area:
In our welcome guide, we encourage our guests to discover local restaurants and producers’ shops so that they can consume local and seasonal produce during their stay.
Our guide highlights the corners of the region that we prefer and that we want to share for everyone’s enjoyment.
Because there’s always room for improvement, we’re listening to our customers to continue our commitment to sustainable development – and we welcome any suggestions you may have!
